228  Divorced women remain in waiting for three periods, and it is not lawful for them to conceal what Allah has created in their wombs if they believe in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands have more right to take them back in this [period] if they want reconciliation. And due to the wives is similar to what is expected of them, according to what is reasonable. But the men have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

Joe Leigh Simpson, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the North Western University in Chicago in the United States of America: As we know, these chromosomes contain all the characteristics which the new human being will have such as the color of the eyes, skin, hair,  etc. Hence, many of the details in the human being’s make-up are determined in his  chromosomes. These chromosomes begin to form during the early nutfah stage of embryonic development. In other words, the distinguishing features of the new human being are determined from the very beginning at the nutfah stage.  Allah, the Most Exalted, the Most  Glorified, has stated this fact in the Qur’aan: During the first 40 days of gestation, all the body parts and organs are completely, though  consecutively, formed.  The Prophet Muhammad, (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam), has informed us in a hadeeth that: In every one of you, all components of your creation are gathered together in your mothers’  womb by 40 days. (Narrated in Saheeh Muslim and Al-Bukhaari). In another Hadeeth, Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said:  When forty-two nights have passed over the drop (nutfah), Allah sends an angel to it, who shapes it and makes its ears, eyes, skin, flesh and bones. Then he says, "O Lord, is it male  or  female?" and your Lord decides what he wishes. (Narrated in Saheeh Muslim).   Professor Simpson studied these two hadeeths extensively, noting that the first 40 days constitute a clearly distinguishable stage of embryogenesis. He was particularly impressed by the absolute precision and accuracy of those hadeeths.  Then during one of the conferences which he attended he gave the following opinion:  So that the two hadeeths that have been noted can provide us with a specific time table for  the main embryological development before 40 days. Again, the point had been made  repeatedly by other speakers this morning that these hadeeths could not have been obtained on the basis of the scientific knowledge that was available at the time of their  recording.  Professor Simpson says that religion can successfully guide the pursuit of knowledge. The West, as we said, has rejected this. But here is an American scientist who says that religion, namely Islam, can achieve this with success.  By analogy, if you go to a factory and have with you the operation manual of the factory, then   you will be able to easily understand the kind of operation that goes on in that factory, thanks  to that manual by the factory designer and builder. But if you do not have this manual with  you, chances are much less that you will have good understanding of the various processes  there.  Professor Simpson said: It follows, I think, that not only is there no conflict between genetics and religion, but in fact religion can guide science by adding revelation to some traditional scientific approaches. That there exists statements in the Qur’aan shown by science to be valid, which supports knowledge in the Qur’aan having been derived from Allah. 2. what is the sperm between the rib and back bone  Where does the semen spring from during coitus?   During coitus semen is ejaculated from the two storage areas called the seminal vesicles, and NOT FROM THE TESTICLES.   Let man look at (and bear in mind) the substance he is created from!  (He is) created from the surging fluid, which springs from between the spine and the ribs!  86:5-7   What is definitely excluded is the scrotal pouch, which is below the spine!   Semen does not spring from there during coitus!   Also excluded is the thorax, since it is not between the ribcage and the spine, but is rather inside the ribcage.   The area not excluded is the abdomen and the pelvic cavity!  The Quran is 100% correct.  Semen is stored in the seminal vesicles to be ejaculated during coitus.   The exact words of the Quran   The exact Arabic words: Bain usSulbe watTaraib   Sulb = backbone, loin, lower back; Taraib = ribs, breastbone, chest.   Bain = between, among, amidst   It is a phrase in Arabic that is similar to the English phrase, “somewhere between the front and the back”   It would mean that the semen springs from “somewhere between the front and the back” of the body.  In other words, somewhere from inside the body!   If one was to insist upon the literal meaning, one would still find that the Quran is 100% correct literally, too.  The seminal vesicles are anterior to the sacrum and coccyx (lower back, loin) and the ribs are anterior to the seminal vesicles.   If one was to draw a line from the tip of the coccyx, to the upper portion of the seminal vesicle _ either one of the two_ and extend the line forward it will catch the ribcage.   The seminal vesicles from which the semen spurts out during coitus, lies between the ribs and the coccyx!   (He is) created from the surging fluid!  Which springs from between the spine and the ribs!  86:6-7 3.there is mention of ovum in the Quran well it is , i just want to know how you feel when you can question science in the Quran this much when for a fact this knowledge was not in know in 7 th century just to go back to the bible where it says wach your home with blood lol and thats from God hhhhhhhhh but back to the humilation first of all the word “ovum” didn’t exist in English language until 1706 at all i wonder why its not there but i see what you mean by your new goal post We read in Tafsir Al-Qummi vol 2 page 398: "And in report Abu AL-Jaroud ,  Au Jafar(AS) regarding the words of High "Surely We created man from small life-germ uniting(76:2)" he(AS) said:"The mixing of water of man and water of woman." The words water of man and water of man refers to the seminal fluids of male containing sperm and seminal fluid of female containing sperm.  Moreover,the word Nutfah refers to both egg(sperm of woman) and sperm(of man).See: Dic. of Quran by M.G. Farid page 781 and Al-Munjid page 821. 23:12-14 And indeed, We created humankind from an essence of clay. Then We placed him as a drop in a firm resting place. Then We created the drop into a clinging substance, then We created the clinging substance into an embryonic lump, then We created the embryonic lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh; then We produce it as another creation. So blessed is Allah, the Best of Creators. (The Arabic word “nut’fat” (drop) is both male’s and female’s secretion. Some translations of the Qur’an are correct calling it “fertilized ovum/egg” or “male and female gamete” or “zygote” (sperm and ovum fused), or “drop”. But other translations are wrong interpreting it as “sperm” or “semen”)(The drop/zygote (sperm and ovum fused) is placed in a firm resting place (uterus or womb), the drop/zygote becomes a clinging substance (blastocyst), the clinging substance is implanted/embedded in the uterine wall, and it develops into an embryonic lump)(Allah knows best) 4.In one place in the Qur'an the prophets are equal (Sura 2: 136 and Sura 2: 285), and in another place they are not equal (Sura 2: 253) again its your own ignorance any tafsir would have given you answer to this well the first verse starts with we believe Say, [O believers], "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants [al-Asbāṭ]1 and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. Let us look at Noble Verse 19:27-28 "At length she brought The (babe) to her people, carrying him (in her arms).  They said:   'O Mary ! Let us look at what Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said regarding this Noble Verse: Mughira b. Shu'ba reported:  "When I came to Najran, they (the Christians of Najran) asked me:  You read "O sister of Harun (Aaron)" (i. e. Mary) in the Qur'an, whereas Moses was born much before Jesus.   When I came back to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) I asked him about that, whereupon he said:  The (people of the old age) used to give names (to their persons) after the names of Apostles and pious persons who had gone before them.  (Translation of Sahih Muslim, The Book on General Behaviour (Kitab Al-Adab), Book 025, Number 5326)" As we clearly see from the Saying (Hadith) of our beloved Prophet, this issue was brought to him before and he clearly responded to it.  The false claim made against our Prophet about him meaning that Mary was a biological sister of Aaron is clearly refuted. The People of Isreal used to call people by either their last names, or by adding words such as you "Son of..." or "Brother of...." or "Sister of...."  When they called people "O Son of...." they didn't mean for that person to be the actual biological son of the person whom they used his name.   The other person could be a simply in the family tree or a last name. When Jesus was called "Jesus the son of David" for instance, the Jews didn't mean to call Jesus the actual biological son of David.  Similarily, when they called Mary "O sister of Aaron", they meant to call her sister of Aaron in faith !.   Not the actual biological sister of Aaron. 6.In the Qur'an, God turns humans into monkeys.
